MIJNO is specialized in cutting and assembly of all types of precision gears; straight gears, helical gears, bevel gears, worm gears and splined shafts. Quantities from 1 to 200 units can be manufactured to meet your needs.We utilize the highest performance, state of art equipment for the production and control of our manufacturing processes. Our expertise has earned the trust in the machine tool, medical, military, nuclear and aerospace industries. MIJNO has 120 machines that allow us to process to every machining operation necessary to fabricate products to meet your requirements. This includes all aspects of turning, milling, and grinding operations. All MIJNO processes are held to the ISO 9001 Quality standard.

Aerospace gears
MIJNO manufactures spur gears with bevel and internal teeth, in accordance with ISO 4 class (AGMA 14).
Our ability to manufacture precise complex parts in low volume production is based on many years of Aerospace experience. This combined with our highly trained staff and quality initiatives allows us to continuously deliver superior and reliable products.
Our specialty is to produce ground gears and gear assemblies to precise geometric tolerancing to customer and Aerospace specifications.

- To perform high tolerance machining with in-process quality inspections
- Using our integrated ERP system, all quality issus are captured and monitored allowing for tracking and resolution of corrective actions therefore eliminating future quality issues.
- Maintain a database of quality approved subcontractors who are able to perform special outside processes including treatments, coatings, and special Aerospace processes.
- Manufacture to the EN9100 standard and peform FAI procedures.
- Meet customer lead times.
Inspection
Each and every of our inspection tools (in the workshop or at the inspection dept) have their own ID number, a life sheet, a date of next inspection. Inspection of controlling tools is performed on a regular basis, following a planning.
We inspect your parts following our in-house procedure, or following yours.
On top of the traditiponal inspection equipment (measuring column, profile projectors, HRC meter...), the geometry of your gears is inspected by means of 2 CNC MMT (Mitutoyo 9166 - picture on the left, Espace 500), and by our Zeiss-Höfler bench for teeth geometry (picture on the right).
We can document dimensional conformance following every aspect of the norm (ISO, DIN, AGMA) thanks to our measuring bench featuring the Klingelberg software with intégrated norms).
The control reports we provide are consequently free of human interpretation and give all details about tooth geometry.
These control reports show:
- All parametres of the helix error on both flanks of 3 teeth
- All parametres of the profile error on both flanks of 3 teeth
- Individual pitch error on 2 flanks of all teeth
- Cumulative pitch error on 2 flanks of all teeth

At MIJNO, we believe that every operation needs to be performed under the supervision of our quality team. Having 150 machines and a highly trained staff enables MIJNO to perform the majority of our operations in house.
This philisophy improves lead time, reduces production costs, and most of all enables MIJNO to manufacture and deliver world class products.

Our subcontractors are held to the highest standards as part of our overall Quality System. They are evaluated on a regular basis by MIJNO and by active Aerospace customers as required.
