ENGINEERING, TESTING AND OPTIMIZING

Our R&D team utilizes the most advanced software to develop planetary or parallel mechanical transmissions. Design configuraions can be straight ,right angle, and can be adapted to special applications . i.e. defense or nuclear industries, etc.
MIJNO offers complete services from cradle to grave. We can deliver design services, complete prototypes, or we can assist with design calculations. If you prefer to manufacture products yourself, we can offer complete 2D drawing packages with calculations and tolerances allowing you to manufacture in house or with your suppliers.
Our specialized engineering department can choose a solution to meet your parameters. This can include temperature, lifetime, special materials, treatments, lubricants, bearings and seals. This will allow us to offer a custom gearbox to meet all your requirements.
TESTING PROCEDURES
MIJNO also offers engineering services that include generating Acceptance Test Procedures and Test Fixtures. These documents and hardware will create a process to mirror your environmental , vibration, temperature , and life requirements. We can provide complete processes and test fixtures directly to you or we can perform specialized testing and supply you the end results.Our quality department can adapt these documents to your FAI requirements or procedures.

Improvement & redesign

If you have low efficiency, premature wear, or broken gears and you want to know what went wrong, MIJNO can offer a solution to your problems. Our R&D team will analyze your gear system and determine the root cause of the failure using state of art technology including X-Ray an electron beam microscopy. Once we have identified the failure mode, MIJNO will recommend a solution with an explanation of what exactly was wrong and how to improve your system. Potential improvements may include lubrication upgrades, material changes, improved coatings, treatments (harder/softer surface materials, higher yield materials) or a modification of the tooth geometry. We can make lifetime comparisons between internal parts and offer a recommended design geometry including a complete prototype that will meet or exceed your requirements. Manufacture and assembly of custom gearboxes
MIJNO can manufacture your special gearboxes to your specification, from 1 Nm to 16,000 Nm, with up to 98% gearing efficiency and down to 1 arc-minute backlash. All gears, housings and key components are manufactured in house and components are sourced worldwide. These include castings, bearings, joints/seals, custom lubricants, encoders, brakes, painting per airspace specification etc. from a network of trusted suppliers.
We can integrate electronic components to meet your specification, including the testing of your complete subassembly.
